HM Queen Elizabeth ll is now in residence at Balmoral Castle Scotland, her private estate, until the Autumn.
The Queen spends the summer annually at her Scottish estate. Members of her immediate and extended family come to visit at various points during her stay.
It is where the family come together for rest and relaxation.
The Queen also entertains the Prime Minister of the day for one week. This time it will be the first official stay by new British Prime Minister Theresa May.
It has certainly been a very busy royal year for her majesty with the extensive 90th birthday celebrations.
