In this video we will be looking at Queen Elizabeth ll becoming the longest reigning living monarch in the world.
Following the death of The King of Thailand, King Bhumibol, Queen Elizabeth became the longest reigning living monarch in the world.
On this day October 13th 2016  it was business as usual for Her Majesty.
The Thai king had ruled for 70 years since June 9th 1946. He was 88 years old.
The Queen who turned 90 in April 2016 has reigned for 64 years having succeeded her father George Vl in February 1952.
