Sophie The Countess Of Wessex Wears British Army Uniform As She Visits 5...

In this video we
will be looking at Sophie, The Countess of Wessex as she visits the Ward
Barracks, in Bulford.

The Countess of
Wessex became Royal Colonel of the 5th Battalion The Rifles, following a
reorganisation of the infantry and visits them following their return from
Germany.

As The Countess
arrived she was greeted by the sound of six Buglers from the Five Rifles
Pioneer as they sounded a salute.

Sophie received a
posy of flowers and met with Children from the Kiwi Primary School which is a 5
Rifles affiliated school.

The 5 Rifles have
now returned from their posting in Germany and will be based at the Bulford Barracks
in Wiltshire.

'Virtus' is the new
load carrying and Personal Protective Equipment on issue to the British Army
and includes new lighter weighted body armour.
