In this video we
will be looking at The Return of Queen Elizabeth ll to London, following her
2016 Christmas break in Scotland.

The 90-year-old monarch appeared
in high spirits as she boarded a train at King's Lynn station in Norfolk.

The Queen spends the Christmas
and New Year period at her private Sandringham estate in Norfolk each year.

Yesterday, the head of
state made history by becoming the first British monarch to reach their
Sapphire Jubilee. Here we see The Queen in a photograph reissued by Buckingham
Palace to mark the Jubilee. The Queen is seen wering a suite of Sapphire
jewellery given to her by her father George Vl.

As The Queen stepped out onto the
platform she appeared to have fully recovered from the heavy cold that blighted
the start of her break and forced her to miss church over Christmas.

She chatted amiably
with her companions in the first-class carriage as she began her journey
home.
